FOR HAIR SALONS

Booking that runs on your salon's own domain.

Online booking on your salon's own page, never listed in a marketplace next to the salon down the street. Real service durations, a calendar per stylist, and a waitlist that fills cancellations for you.

Set the real time each service takes

Build out color, highlights, balayage, cuts, and blow-dries with the actual durations they run. Bookings are spaced by those durations, so a long color isn't stacked on top of a cut and the day on the calendar matches the day on the floor.

Cancellations refill themselves

When a Saturday color cancels, the waitlist cascade automatically offers the open slot to the next matching client. If they don't answer in time, it passes to the next person. No group texts, no scrambling to fill the chair the night before.

Visit history stays with the client

Every client keeps their full booking history, and digital forms, waivers, and consent are attached to the appointment. When a regular rebooks six weeks later, the stylist can see what they came in for last time instead of digging through paper.

Every stylist has their own calendar

Multi-staff scheduling with a calendar per stylist, plus roles and permissions. The front desk sees the whole floor; each stylist sees their own column and their own clients. Assign each service to the people who actually offer it.

Email and SMS reminders cut no-shows

Automatic email and text reminders go out before every appointment, so a two-hour color booking doesn't quietly vanish on a Friday. Pair them with a deposit or no-show fee disclosed through Stripe for the chair time you can't afford to lose.

Clients rebook themselves, walk-ins get a queue

The customer portal lets regulars rebook their usual service and see their visit history without calling. For drop-ins, the walk-in queue keeps the order straight on a busy Saturday so nobody's hovering by the desk asking who's next.

FAQ

Questions hair salons owners ask.

How hard is it to move my client list and history over?

Not hard. We offer free import from Square, Acuity, Mindbody, Booksy, Vagaro, and Fresha, which brings your clients, services, and appointment history along. Keep your old tool running during the 45-day free trial (no credit card) and only flip the switch once everything looks right. If you ever leave, free CSV and JSON export means you take everything with you.

What does it actually cost, and is there commission on my bookings?

A flat monthly subscription, published in full on our pricing page, plus standard Stripe processing on any deposits or no-show fees you choose to collect. We never take a commission on a client who's already yours, and there's no marketplace fee. If a charge isn't on the pricing page, it doesn't exist.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. Dropinly is month-to-month with no annual contract and no exclusivity, so you can run other tools alongside it if you want. Your booking page lives on your own salon domain, your clients are yours, and your data exports out as CSV or JSON whenever you ask. Support is email and chat whenever you need it.
